Thick (1 cup)

4 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
Thin (1 cup)
1tablespoon butter
1 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
Blend in flour, salt and a dash of white pepper.
Add milk all at once.
Cook quickly, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles.
